Collaborative Cyber DEfense
The CISO Network serves as ACSC’s Steering Committee. They provide guidance on the curriculum and research partners as well as the overall ACSC mission. The CISO network meets regularly, explores focus topics, shares hot topics and cyber intel, and provides insights into the priority items they are working on, where peers may benefit from their experience or lessons learned.
See our CISO Member List.
This group covers the topics identified in Member Priorities.
The Deputies are the CISO’s right hand. The Deputies Network works on many of the same topics but they go deeper into operational conversations. In 2021, the Deputies Network assumed responsibility for the ACSC’s work on Red Teams, picking up from the 2020 Collaborative Defense Report on Continuous Assessments and Red Teams with a special focus this year on the Level 0 building blocks - good cyber hygiene. This means working sessions focused on Asset Management and Vulnerability Management.
In addition, the Deputies Network has primary responsibility for overseeing the development of ACSC’s Cyber Exercises to include the Annual Table Top Exercise and the ASCS-SimSpace Cyber Range Joint Exercises.
