Security expert Michael Chertoff discusses cybersecurity challenges, solutions

Noted security expert Michael Chertoff, who served as secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2005-2009, delivered the first University of Delaware Cybersecurity Initiative Distinguished Lecture on February 10, 2015.

In his talk, Chertoff names the ACSC a model consortium bringing together university, industry, and government organizations to focus on cyber threats. He goes on to highlight the consortium's work around sharing cyber threat information, engaging in next-generation cybersecurity research and development, and promoting public policies that will advance security.
