Highlights include: Harvard University CISO Jay Carter and Director of IT Security Architecture and Engineering Christian Hamer will discuss the university’s IT Security services and guiding principles; overview of Harvard’s cybersecurity research initiatives by Greg Morrisett, Professor of Computer Science, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Advanced Cyber Espionage presentation from Harry Sverdlove, Bit9 CTO, and follow-on panel with Matt Richard, MITRE and Jim Caulfield, Federal Reserve National IT Services; and Boston University’s Evimaria Terzi, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, will share a status update on the Big Data R&D “Prime the Pump” Project.

Second Annual ACSC Working Conference

Date: November 15, 2012, 9:00a.m. - 5:15p.m.

Location: Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, 600 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, MA

An important milestone in establishing direction for the Center's initiatives, the annual conference will convene New England's leading public-private cybersecurity stakeholders to take stock of emerging security challenges and foster interdisciplinary collaboration in combatting the most advanced cyber threats. The conference will review 2012 progress achieved by the Center and expand dialogue to move forward ACSC initiatives addressing the nation's cybersecurity "grand challenges."

Boston CCSMM Cyber Training and Exercise Program

This program is geared towards government and industry executives throughout the Metro-Boston area and is based on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Community Cyber Security Maturity Model (CCSMM).
